Scienta Omicron systems include the Mistral control system offering the following features:

Mistral System Controller
The Mistral control system based on a programmable logic controller (PLC) offers intuitive, user-friendly touch screen operation and full visualization of all vacuum system components.
It is built on industry standard PLC technology and allows complete and fast status overview of valves, pumps, pressures and bakeout with temperature history graph. The PLC offers several interlocks to maintain a safe operation of the system at all times. Mistral also ensures upgrade paths to include additional components, everything from simple sources to advanced SPM modules, in the system and interlock chain.
The bakeout procedure is easily programmable and preconfigured in the PLC. The fully bakeable UHV system includes bakeout cover, fan heaters and suitable 19″ instrumentation rack space housing further control electronics. The vacuum system is completely assembled on a frame, electrically wired, and tested.
